The year of the paper wasps

The paper wasps have really taken over our house this year.  We have had a record number of nests.  We both got stung a few times when we would open our gate.  They had nests hidden in the cross slats so everytime we opened the gate they came out ready to fight.  They have been all over our eves too.  The nests are quite interesting.  Too bad they don't produce honey!  Some of the pictures are a little blurry.  It is hard to have a steady hand when you are up on a ladder and there are wasps flying all around your head.
