Hot day yesterday so it was off to the hills again for a hike to blue lake.
I have always loved this area. The hike is great because the path goes by the stream quite often, the sound of the water is wonderful. We made several treks over the stream. My new hiking poles came in handy I must say. This particular crossing had a great photo opportunity, so my friends stopped to take some pictures of the wildflowers.
It's hard to look that great with a hat on!
